Staff, parents and caregivers are invited to special receptions on Monday, May 1, 2023, at 5 to 6:30 p.m. to meet the new principals of Flynn Park Elementary School and Jackson Park Elementary School.
The events will be hosted at both schools to welcome Darion Murdock to Flynn Park, located at 7220 Waterman Ave. (63130) and Jim Triplett to Jackson Park, located at 7400 Balson Ave. (63130).
The events are great opportunities to ask questions and learn more about the new leaders and their vision for the schools.
Both Triplett and Murdock are 1996 graduates of University City High School. Triplett is coming to University City after winning multiple leadership awards while serving as a principal in St. Louis Public Schools. Murdock is a highly regarded principal at Hazelwood Schools.
