Join Us! School Events for Black History Month

Black History Month graphicBlack History Month begins on Wednesday, February 1, 2023. During this time, the District further honors and celebrates the culture, achievements and history of African Americans.

As part of the District’s vision of Learning Reimagined, our community strives to ensure our students interact with differing narratives of African American history and that they participate in activities that praise, uplift and spark positive conversations regarding inclusion, social justice, relationships, love and racial differences. The month provides our students with enrichment and nurtures their student voices so that they are excited to share what they learn about Black history with friends, family and community members.
