Register Now for January 25 UCHS Equations Tournament
Registration is now open for math teams throughout the St. Louis metro area to participate in the U-City Equations Open. The event offers creative problem-solving at its highest level for students in elementary, middle and high school.
The tournament is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 25, 2020, from 8 to 11:30 a.m. in the University City High School Gymnasium, 7401 Balson Avenue, 63130. Registration is due by Jan. 18. Cost is $28 per team of four or five players, and $7 for each additional player (up to seven players).
A practice session for starting teams, parents and teachers was held on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2019, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at University City High School. The session helped first-time teams in 3rd, 4th and 5th grades. Students received preliminary instruction from their coaches to help them prepare for the January competition.
The UCHS Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is hosting the event, now in its 23rd year. Anyone with questions regarding Equations in U. City Schools should call or email Greg Rhoades at (314) 757-0174 or email@example.com. Registration forms are also available on your school's Peachjar.
