RESET Parent Education Series for Children’s Well Being

reset poster Brittany Woods Middle School will be the host site for a three-part, evening, parent education series called RESET with parent educator Candice E. Cox, a licensed clinical social worker. The sessions are designed to assist parents with supporting their children’s well being through school and life - in an honest, judgment-free environment.

Sessions are scheduled for 6-7 p.m. at Brittany Woods Middle School, 8125 Groby Road 63130. Please plan to join us for any or all.

Monday, Feb. 4, 2019 - Session 1: “Chaos vs KHAOS”
Learn the difference between chaos and KHAOS (Keep Healing and Overcoming Struggles). Garner a better understanding of age-appropriate development and how stress affects parents and children in the home, school and work environments. 

Monday, March. 4, 2019 - Session 2: “Sticks & Stones”
Learn how communications can create or destroy relationships between parents and children.

Monday, April 8, 2019 - Session 3: “Huddle Up”
Identify and discuss positive ways to build healthy relationships with schools staff to create successful emotional pathways for children.
