  • School Schedule Changes Around Fall Break

    As U. City Schools head into Fall Break, take note of a few changes to the school schedule during the next few weeks. All students will switch to virtual learning only on Monday and Tuesday (Nov. 23 and 24). Cohort A students in grades PreK-6 will do virtual learning from home on those days. Fall break starts next Thursday, Nov. 25, and runs through Nov. 27. (Click headline to read more)

  • Registration for School Board Elections Begins Dec. 15

    Registration opens Dec. 15 for anyone seeking to join the school board for The School District of University City. Qualified candidates will be added to the ballot for the April 6, 2021 election. (Click link to read more)

  • District COVID Hotline Opens Oct. 26

    The District’s COVID-19 hotline, which is manned by a school nurse, is monitored Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. It provides a place to obtain general information about COVID-19, district policies, testing locations and ways to access to primary care physicians. Parents should also call to report COVID exposure, test results, quarantine and isolation. (Click headline to read more)

  • Fall 2020 Grab & Go Meal Program Updates for November and December

    U. City Schools provides 21 meals each week to registered District students through the Grab & Go Meal program. Beginning Nov. 4, meal distribution day changes to Wednesdays, excluding Thanksgiving week that will be held on Tuesday. Click headline to learn more details.

  • Elementary Schools Open Classes Nov. 9

    The District is excited to welcome our elementary students back to the classrooms for hybrid learning beginning Nov. 9. Our plan, which is safe, gradual, and kind, creates two groups of students called Cohort A and Cohort B. The cohorts will switch back and forth between online and in-person learning so that we can maintain distance and clean, healthy learning spaces.
