Sports, Behavior Expectations
UCHS offers an extensive athletic program for both male and female students under the leadership of the athletic director and a staff of outstanding coaches. A medical physical, proof of insurance, parental permission and 14 days of practice are required before athletes are allowed to compete. Intramural activities are open to all students throughout the year as facilities permit.
Fall Sports: Cross Country, Field Hockey, Football, Boys Soccer, Softball, Boys Swimming, Girls Tennis, Volleyball.
Winter Sports: Basketball, Girls Swimming, Wrestling.
Spring Sports: Baseball, Girls Soccer, Boys Tennis, Track, Waterpolo, Golf.
Poms and Cheerleading are offered in the fall and winter seasons.
First Possible Practice Dates (MSHSAA, 2017-18 SY)
Fall Sports: July 31, 2017.
Winter Sports: Wrestling & Basketball: October 30, 2017;
Girls Swim: November 6, 2017.
Spring Sports: February 26, 2018.

Expectations for Spectators at Athletic Events
- Students may not bring radios, laser pointers, signs or noise makers to athletic contests.
- Positive school spirit demonstrated at all athletic events is the best support for our teams.
- When schools visit UCHS for athletic contests, they are our guests—please treat them as such. When we go to play other schools, we are their guests and can expect to be treated as such.
- UCHS is a Smoke-FREE campus.
