DELMAR LOOP EARTH DAY Neighborhood Cleanup Saturday, April 22 | 9:00am Together we can make the Delmar Loop neighborhood a better place to live, work and play. VisitTheLoop.com/EarthDay Join us on Earth Day, Saturday, April 22nd at 9:00am for a Neighborhood Cleanup Event at 6691 Delmar Blvd. This year’s community service project will be led by University City High School’s Air Force JROTC cadet program. We will split in to three groups to; 1) Pick up trash; 2) Pick up cigarette butts out of the planters and tree grates; 3) sweep debris out of storm drains. Please come out to join us! The JROTC Cadets will arrive behind Cicero’s at 9am and split in to the 3 groups for cleanup. The Cadets will cleanup from 9:30am – 11am moving east toward Skinker. The Cadets will form-up somewhere between Skinker and Eastgate then March west on Delmar to Kingsland. Cadets will be walk along the sidewalks along Delmar handing out flyers (with information about the JROTC program) and collecting donations for the program. So bring your friends, family, and neighbors to come out and do something positive this Earth Day to help beautify and improve our community! Questions?
