Principal's Welcome

Dear Flynn Park School Community,

I am thrilled and deeply honored to be returning home to University City

and  joining the staff at Flynn Park as your new principal.  I am committed to serving our students, teachers and school community with dedication, passion and integrity.

Having grown up in this wonderful community, it feels like a homecoming and I am filled with both nostalgia and excitement for the future. As a student, I attended Nathaniel Hawthorne Elementary School, Ronald McNair 6th Grade Center, Brittany Woods Middle School, and University City High School. Through the years, I witnessed the  unwavering spirit that defines University City.

U. City graduates and community residents have a pride like no other and, as we say, each has the “Heart of a Lion.”

As we come together to shape the future of Flynn Park, I am inspired by the work that is already happening and the great things that we will do together as a school community in support of education excellence.

My vision for the students of Flynn Park is one of inclusivity, excellence and equity. Together, we will foster a culture of respect, kindness and collaboration where all students feel supported and empowered to achieve their dreams.

As I enter my 21st year in education, I am deeply committed to building powerful relationships based on trust and open communication. I look forward to connecting with each of you personally and engaging in meaningful conversations about our shared goals and aspirations for Flynn Park. 

Thank you for entrusting me to lead and for your support. I am confident that working together and drawing upon the collective strengths of our community, we will achieve great things for the students of Flynn Park Elementary.
