Unleashing Potential offers after-school programming at all four elementary schools. As of May 2025, Unleashing Potential no longer offers before-school care. Its programming features:
Interactive activities in a supportive and safe environment
Enrichment focused on literature, STEAM, health and social/emotional growth
Homework assistance offered with academic tutors
Snack or hot meal provided
Full or part-time care
Programs offered on all early release and some no-school days

The YMCA's Y-Club is offered at Julia Goldstein Early Childhood Education Center. Y Club provides a productive recreational and educational childcare experience at a reasonable cost before and after normal school hours. This program is operated by the city branch of the Mid-County YMCA, which determines the policies, staffing, and program.
