Non-Resident Students

If the child you are enrolling previously attended a school outside of the School District of University City, additional documents or information will be required.

Tuition

The Board of Education annually sets tuition rates for non-resident students of the District. The administration uses the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education's suggested worksheet to determine tuition rates. Expenditures from the previous school years are used to calculate the rates for upcoming school years.

The proposed rates for the school year 2026-2027 are as follows:

  • Grades K-5: $20,324.41
  • Grades 6-8: $21,306.62
  • Grades 9-12: $22,670.35

Notice

The School District of University City actively investigates and prosecutes cases of educational larceny. Do not enroll a child at an address that is not the child's legal residence.
