Please join us Monday, February 10, 2025 at 5:00 pm in the University City High School Library for a State of the District presentation outlining the District's strategic plan, academic and community achievements, and areas of growth moving ahead.
Every year, the nonprofit University City Education Foundation provides grants to staff and schools to fund special projects that enhance education, enrichment and the learning environment for students.

The STL International Film Festival & Brittany Woods Middle School presented a special screening of Farming While Black at the Brown School at Washington University.
Farming While Black is a feature film about the rising generation of young black farmers, based on the book by Leah Penniman. The film was followed by a panel held in the Hillman Hall's Clark-Fox Forum.
The University City Municipal Commission on Arts & Letters has named Grammy-nominated musician Christopher J. Thomas, Returning Artist for 2024-25. Thomas is a UCHS Class of 1988 alum!
Alter Trading Corporation and Flynn Park Elementary School are joining a recycling movement to collect millions of empty aluminum beverage cans as part of the 2 Million Cans Recycling Contest.
This contest is an exciting partnership with Can Manufacturers Institute (CMI) and Recycling Is Like Magic! The competition, which runs now through April 30, 2025, will inspire environmental awareness, hands-on learning, teamwork and community engagement with young learners.
After devoting October to studying the key points of the November 5 General Election, our Curriculum and Instruction team and teachers are excited to offer a powerful, real-life lesson through mock elections. Students (grades K-12) will finally be able to cast their votes on age-appropriate ballots.
