Under the provisions of Missouri Statute Section 115.124, if the number of candidates who file is equal to the number of positions to be filled by the election, no election will be held. However, if the number of candidates filing exceeds the number of positions at any time during the filing window, the annual school board election will be held in April each year. Candidates will be listed on the ballot based on a lottery drawing conducted by the St. Louis County Board of Elections.
