  • District COVID Hotline Opens Oct. 26

    The District’s COVID-19 hotline, which is manned by a school nurse, is monitored Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. It provides a place to obtain general information about COVID-19, district policies, testing locations and ways to access to primary care physicians. Parents should also call to report COVID exposure, test results, quarantine and isolation. (Click headline to read more)

  • Elementary Schools Will Open Classes Nov. 9

    The District is excited to welcome our elementary students back to the classrooms for hybrid learning beginning Nov. 9. Our plan, which is safe, gradual, and kind, creates two groups of students called Cohort A and Cohort B. The cohorts will switch back and forth between online and in-person learning so that we can maintain distance and clean, healthy learning spaces. We urge parents to complete the online commitment form so we know if your student will return to the buildings. (Click headline to read more)

  • Join Us for a Pumpkin Stroll Oct. 24

    U. City students, staff and families: You are invited to a free, physically-distanced outdoor event featuring hundreds of glowing pumpkins carved by you! Starting at dusk (6 p.m.) on Saturday, Oct. 24, guests can stroll leisurely and at a safe distance around the UCHS stadium track to see the pumpkins a-glow. (Click the headline for more details.)

  • Superintendent Named 2020 Stellar Performance Award Winner

    Superintendent Sharonica Hardin-Bartley will receive the 2020 Stellar Performer in Education Award at the St. Louis American Foundation’s Salute to Excellence in Education virtual gala on Saturday, October 17. The foundation will foster over $1.95 million in scholarships and grants this year for area youth and educators — a true tribute to the brave work of Hardin-Bartley and the other awardees.
