    •  Regions Riding Forward Essay Contest “Stories Worth Sharing’ What is the Riding Forward Scholarship Essay Contest?

      • Through March 31, 2021, high school seniors and undergraduate college freshmen, sophomores and juniors who are residents of (or who are currently enrolled in accredited colleges located in)
        states with Regions branches are encouraged to submit 500-word essays honoring a Black American who has been an inspiration in the applicant’s life.
      • Scholarships will include a total of 15 awards of $5,000 each for high school winners and 15 awards of $3,500 each for winners who are currently enrolled as college students.
      • One high school winner and one college winner will be selected from each of the 15 states served by Regions branches.
      • Children of Regions associates are eligible as the contest is judged by an independent third party.
    • The Bridging the Dream Scholarship for High School Seniors: In 2021, The Sallie Mae Fund will award (25) $10,000 scholarships to high school seniors who plan to enroll in a two- or four-year degree professional certificate, or vocational training program. Seniors who excel inside and outside of the classroom and demonstrate financial need can apply now through March 8 at www.salliemae.com/landing/bridging-the-dream
    • The Completing the Dream Scholarship: In 2021, The Sallie Mae Fund will award (260) gap scholarships worth up to $2,500 to minority students and those from underserved communities who are on track to graduate but are at-risk of not completing due to financial emergency or unpaid school bill.     • The Bridging the Dream Scholarship for Graduate Students: Coming later this year, The Sallie Mae Fund will also offer (10) $10,000 scholarship to minority students and those from disadvantaged communities who are pursuing a graduate degree.     MISSOURI SCHOLARSHIP & LOAN FOUNDATION’S Access Extra Scholarship A private scholarship for students eligible for the Access Missouri Financial Assistance Program and who meet one of the following requirements: • Have a 27 or higher on the ACT. OR Have earned a cumulative 3.80 or higher on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent on another scale) weighted or unweighted GPA through at least seven semesters at a Missouri high school.     The Butler’s Pantry Melinda Jackson Scholarship will award up to two renewable $1,000 scholarships annually.     The EHG Foundation Scholarship for Children of Tarlton Employees will annually award a renewable $2,000 scholarship to a child or legal dependent of an employee of Tarlton who has worked for at least two years at the time of application.
