UServe – The Community Service Component of UCHS

  • U Serve

UServe, the community service component of our school, aligns with the vision of UCHS and The School District of University City. The goal is to expose students to a wide variety of community service experiences and opportunities resulting in heightened interest in community involvement locally and beyond. Approximately one-third of all UCHS students participate in at least one service activity each year they are enrolled at UCHS, and that number is growing—particularly as many of our instructors are aligning community service with class instruction. Once a student participates in some type of community service, they typically become a repeat volunteer—especially if they are doing something they enjoy or are passionate about.
