Non-Resident Student Information
Enrollment Documentation: If the child you are enrolling previously attended a school outside of the School District of University City, additional documents or information will be required.
Tuition: The Board of Education annually sets tuition rates for non-resident students of the District. The administration uses the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education's suggested worksheet to determine tuition rates. The last full year of expenditures, school year 2017-2018, was used to calculate the rates. A comparison of tuition rates from the prior year and the proposed rates for the school year 2018-2019 are as follows:
Grades K-5: $15,385 Grades K-5: $15,754
Grades 6-8: $15,640 Grades 6-8: $16,864
Grades 9-12: $16,821 Grades 9-12: $18,537
Notice: The School District of University City actively investigates and prosecutes cases of educational larceny. Do not enroll a child at an address that is not the child's legal residence.
