Centennial Celebration 2011

  • Cover of University City Schools Our First 100 Years As part of The School District of University City's centennial anniversary in 2011, and to commemorate its organization on Feb. 21, 1911; a limited-edition book, University City Schools: Our First 100 Years, was written by Alan Spector, University City High School class of 1964, in conjunction with The School District of University City.

    University City Schools: Our First 100 Years celebrates the past, present and future of the District by exploring the rich history of tradition and change in our first 100 years. From stories of the District’s founders to a chronicle of the students, teachers, administrators and other staff who have walked the halls of District buildings, this book brings the past 100 years to life. In celebrating the past, the book also looks to the future of the District and its impact in the next century.
