PBIS Expectations
Positive Behavior Intervention Support
The School District of University City has instituted a districtwide program of Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS). While the structure of the program is consistent across the District, each school develops its own PBIS motto or expectations slogan for students. At Brittany Woods, we encourage our students to SOAR - Safety, Openness, Achievement, Respect. Students who consistently exhibit these characteristics are recognized and rewarded through assemblies, special activities and other incentives.
