The Adult Education and Literacy Advisory Board of University City (AELUC) is a 501c3 non-profit organization that assists the School District of University City's Adult Education and Literacy Program. The AELUC's goal is to increase community awareness of the program and its participants. The University City Adult Education & Literacy Program values its cultural diversity. Participation with the program would help the AELUC to build and develop stronger community support as the AEL Program continue to provide quality English as a Second Language (ESL), General Educational Development (GED) and Literacy Education classes throughout the University City and neighboring communities.
The AELUC actively seeks volunteer board members and contribution that will help the AEL Program achieve their goal of providing quality education and opportunities for all students. Contributions are accepted in person during the AEL Program’s office hours of 8:00am to 4:30pm or by mail to the Adult Education & Literacy Advisory Board of University City c/o Della Tolliver, 8136 Groby Road, University City, Missouri 63130.
