Brittany Woods selected for NBC's SMASH Make a Musical program
Students at Brittany Woods have a unique opportunity to participate in musical theater this spring, as the school is one of 20 nationwide to be selected to participate in NBC’s SMASH Make a Musical Project. The program provides a free Broadway Junior ShowKit with rights to perform a musical, two master classes with teachers from iTheatrics New York, a local project advisor, stipends for two teachers to direct the musical, and a technical theater fund.
Students at Brittany Woods auditioned last week for the show, Guys and Dolls Jr., and will perform the musical in early May. To see the story aired by local NBC affiliate KSDK Channel 5, click here.
