SSD Parent-to-Parent Coffee, Feb. 6
The School District of University City in conjunction with the University City Parent Advisory Council to Special School District (SSD) will host several informal parent coffees throughout the year to provide parents an opportunity to visit with other parents and SSD staff members about topics relevant to parents of students with special needs.
The next coffee is Monday, Feb. 6, 2012, at 7 p.m. at Flynn Park Elementary School Library, 7220 Waternam. This coffee will be about transitions: year-to-year, school-to-school and beyond. Sandra Kempf, SSD transition facilitator for University City, will be there to facilitate.
These coffees are very informal and provide an opportunity for families across the district whose children receive SSD services to connect and share information.
