Delmar-Harvard Receives State Award for PBIS Discipline Program

On April 29 we were informed that Delmar-Harvard will receive the Bronze
Award from the State of Missouri for implementation of our PBIS
discipline program. Bronze is the highest level award available to
schools at our implementation level. We have been using this program
for the past two years. Our students say the DH RAP each morning at our
assembly and we celebrate their successes and accomplishments at our
Friday RAP Star Assembly. The success of our program is due to the
combined efforts of our teachers, students and parents. Many thanks to
our PBIS Committee: Ms. Linda Baraba, Ms. Kathy Sykes, Ms. Channa
Hankins, Ms. Jill Goldstein, Ms. Bethe Brightfield and Dr. Phyllis
Fredericksen. Members of the committee will receive the award for our
school on June 7, 2010 in Columbia Missouri at the Missouri PBIS Summer
Institute. Thank you for all of your support!
