Publication of the Connections newsletter began in 2002 as a means of augmenting the PRIDE publication and providing additional information to parents in the School District of University City. The publication is sent on a monthly basis via student backpacks of students in preschool through eighth grade. Additional copies of the publication are distributed through information tables in all District schools, University City Public Library, Centennial Commons, City Hall, Police Department and Fire Department.
