ACT’s PLAN Test

7:30 a.m.
UCHS Auditorium
University City High School is pleased to offer ACT’s PLAN Test
to all sophomores. PLAN is the 10th grade test that provides
students an idea of how they may perform on the ACT Assessment. The
ACT Assessment is taken in the junior or senior year and is used
for college admission. In addition to gauging academic achievement,
PLAN provides information for educational and career planning.
Your student receives a report that
• identifies academic strengths and weaknesses
• helps students explore career interests
• helps focus on goals and the preparation needed to achieve
them
The PLAN will be administered to sophomores on Wednesday, December
3, 2008 beginning at 7:30 a.m. in the high school Auditorium. Your
student will be provided “A Planning Guide for Students and
Parents.” Please review the contents with your student and assist
him or her in preparing for this important academic/career/college
assessment.
PLAN is an important part of University City High School’s
college/career preparation program. University City School District
is committed to assisting your student in receiving the necessary
preparation for his/her future. The School District will bear the
cost of the test administration fee to ensure that each student is
provided an opportunity to take advantage of this important
assessment.
