Comprehensive School Improvement Plan

All school districts are required by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education to develop a Comprehensive School Improvement Plan (CSIP) that would direct the overall improvement of its educational programs and services. The purpose of the CSIP is to focus on the future goals of the District that need to be developed and implemented in the following five areas:

  • Academic Achievement for All Students
  • Highly Qualified Staff
  • Facilities, Support and Instructional Resources
  • Parent and Community Involvemen
  • Governance and Administration

The CSIP Plan is used in the same context as a strategic plan, and is designed to identify important, long-range improvement issues and describes a specific set of actions to be undertaken, relative to these issues over a five-year period. The CSIP is revised annually.
