Adult Education Orientation Teacher

Position Requirements Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Related Field
and Qualifications: Adult Education Certification required or the ability to obtain the certification (learn more at www.maelpdc.org)
Plan, coordinate and carry out the GED and ESL intakes and orientations for new student enrollment. Maintain accurate records of assessment and enrollment data related to the Adult Education and Literacy program. Prepare all reports required for accessing students for teaching staff of the Adult Education and Literacy program. Knowledge or experience administrating TABE and CASAS assessment as well as experience working with CASAS TOPsPRO software preferred. Skills in Excel and Word, required. Experience working with “at risk” students in a multi-cultural setting, beneficial.
Starting Salary: $14.20 per hour
