BW - DREAM TOUR

Dr. Bernard Harris

Dr. Bernard Harris, the first African-American astronaut to walk in space, will be here doing a promotional assembly to inspire middle school age students to seek out further study and careers in the areas of science, math, engineering, and technology.

Some students will have one-on-one meetings with Dr. Harris in which parents are invited. 

There will be promotional items for students, monies for teacher professional development and curriculum, and materials for middle school classrooms. There will also be a long term relationship with The Harris Foundation during the following school year. Some of the middle school students will attend the summer Harris Foundation program offered at Washington University.
