Career Fair a Success

The UCHS Career Fair was held on April 16, co-sponsored by ABNA
Engineering, Royal Bank, Christner Inc., and the ACCESS Center.
Over 30 businesses, trade organizations and schools hosted
information tables at this event which was attended by the majority
of UCHS students throughout the school day. Participants included
Ameren UE, LeEcole Culinaire, Meramec Community College, Forest
Park Community College, UMSL, Parks College- St. Louis University,
Lisa Frumhoff/Coldwell Banker, Missouri Society of Certified Public
Accountants, Ranken Technical College,Kwame Building Group, MoDOT,
Alberici Construction, Construction Craft Laborers Apprentice
Program, Sheet Metal Workers, St. Louis Carpenters, Bricklayers
Local Number 1, Tile Workers, Operating Engineers, Floorlayers
Apprenticeship Program, AIA Architects, HOK Architects, Washington
University, Missouir Wommen in Trades, U. City Police, Fire and
EMT, And the St. Louis Community College Mobile Tech Center.
Students enjoyed
learning about a variety of careers and winning hundreds of dollars
worth of door prizes.
