School Board Hires New Principals

The Board of Education has voted to hire the following as new principals for Jackson Park and Delmar-Harvard Elementary Schools:
Dr. Phyllis Fredericksen
- Delmar-Harvard
Since 2005, Dr. Fredericksen has served as the assistant head of
school at the H.F. Epstein Hebrew Academy in St. Louis. She has
also held principal positions at two St. Louis area Catholic
elementary schools. She holds a doctorate in Education
Administration from St. Louis University, two Masters of Education
from the University of Missouri-St. Louis and a Bachelor of Arts
degree from Mundelein College in Chicago.
Ms. Monica Isaac-Hudson
- Jackson Park
Since 2004, Ms. Isaac-Hudson has served as the principal of Buder
Elementary School in the St. Louis Public School system. She also
worked in the City schools as principal of Banneker Elementary
School and as an elementary instructional coordinator and
technology liaison. She obtained an Educational Administrative
specialist degree from the University of Missouri-St. Louis, a
Masters of Arts in Education from St. Louis University and a
Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education from Harris-State
College.
Dr. Fredricksen and Ms. Isaac-Hudson will assume their new duties on July 1, 2008.
