School Board Participates in Leadership Workshops

For the past several months, members of the School District of University City Board of Education have participated in a series of workshops sponsored by the Missouri School Boards Association (MSBA).
The workshops, which have dealt with such topics as strategic planning, professional development and superintendent evaluation, began last July. The next workshop, which is scheduled for January 17 at 6 p.m. at the McNair Administration Building, will focus on open meeting agendas. The meeting is open to the public, however those attending will not be able to participate.
David Lineberry, who is the MSBA’s Academy of Public School Governance director, has facilitated the workshops which are helping board members to enhance their leadership, management and operational skills.
