David Hunn Sparks Career Interest In Sixth Graders

Nathaniel Hawthorne sixth graders got a jump start on their
career planning by having the opportunity to speak to educational
reporter David Hunn on November 20, 2007. Mr. Hunn is an award
winning reporter for the Saint Louis Post Dispatch. He was able to
assist as a part of the school's ongoing career exploration
presentation series for sixth graders. During his visit he was able
to explore with students how they can successfully live and work in
a culturally diverse world, recognize their interests, aptitudes,
and abilities, and broaden their aspirations. He shared personal
and professional experiences including how he began as a reporter
and answered questions about his choice of career.
