Library Media Center Hours:
Mondays 7:15 - 2:45 / Tuesdays to Fridays 7:15 - 3:45
Students May come to the library ...
- As a class with a teacher.
- Individually with a signed pass.
- In small groups with an assignment and individual signed passes.
Loan Period:
All items may be checked out for two weeks.
Late fees of .10¢ per item per day are charged.
Fees for lost and damaged items will be charged on a per item basis.
A self serve photocopier is available for student use at .10¢ a page.
Students are encouraged to read, complete homework, research topics for class using books, periodicals or the Internet.
Food, Drinks, Electronics such as MP3 players, headphones, and cell phones are not allowed in the library media center.
University City High School has a wide variety of materials covering many topics of interest in order to assist students in completing assignments according to the curriculum.
Students who are assigned a bus for normal transportation to school may ride the activity bus after school if the after school time has been spent working in the library media center. The student will need to discuss the pass situation with the library media specialist.
