The Office of Pupil Personnel handles the following areas:
- Guidance Counselors
- School Social Workers
- School Nurses
- Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) Program and the Program for Exceptionally Gifted Students (PEGS)
- Special School District (SSD) Liaison
- Individualized Educational Program (IEP) Review
- Student Discipline Administrative Hearings
- Enrollment and school boundaries
- Permissive and Administrative Transfers
- Educational Larceny (RSMo 167.020.2)
- Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education(DESE) Core Data reporting
- Homeless Students
- Set up transportation for the homeless students in University City.
- Associated with other school districts with dealing with students that are homeless in University City but go to school in another district.
- The status of students from the Gulf coast displaced by Hurricane Katrina to University City.
